Robin McLaurin Williams, born in Chicago, Illinois, a great great grandson of Mississippi Governor and Senator Anselm J. McLaurin. Robin briefly studied political science, before enrolling at Juilliard School of Art where he enrolled in theatre. After he left Juilliard, he performed in nightclubs where he was discovered for the role of Mork on an episode of “Happy Days” (1974) and the subsequent spin-off “Mork & Mindy” (1978).
Williams' comic talent involved a great deal of improvisation.
From Popeye in 1980 (the movie), to Mork in “Happy days” and “Mork & Mindy”, to professor Philipp Brainard in “Flubber” and the famously renown “Genie” of “Aladdin”, Robin Williams has proven a refined and particular sense of diversity and genuine genius artistic talent.
And so he lived a full life, successful and joyful spreading happiness and drawing smiles through every screen or TV in every house or theatre.
“I used to think that worst thing in life was to end up alone. It’s not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people who make you feel alone.”
