Robin David Sachs was an English actor.
Personal life:
Sachs was born in London to actors Leonard Sachs, who was born in South Africa, and Eleanor Summerfield. He was twice married: first to Welsh actress Siân Phillips (1979–1991) and, secondly, to Casey Defranco. Sachs was known for his role as sorcerer Ethan Rayne in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

He died from a heart attack on 1 February 2013. During the last weekend of February 2013, the month in which Robin Sachs died, a Mass Effect 3 multiplayer challenge was enacted: "Operation Tribute".
